But here’s a twist that might just change the game: what if success isn’t only about what you do but also about who you choose to be? Today’ we’re talking about why adding a ‘To Be’ list is a game changer in success.
At GSR2R, we were recently introduced to the idea of a ‘To Be’ list, and it’s been a total mindset shift.
Unlike a ‘To Do’ list, which maps out what you need to accomplish, a ‘To Be’ list sets an intention for how you want to show up during your day, your conversations, and those inevitable tough moments. It’s like a check-in with your best self before the day takes over.
Let’s be honest recruitment can be relentless. The pace is fast, the setbacks are real, and the expectations are high. It’s easy to fall into survival mode.
But with a ‘To Be’ list, you reclaim control. You choose your mindset at the start of the day. It’s like putting on your mental armour built not from pressure, but from purpose
Before diving into emails and calls, take a moment and ask yourself: Who do I want to be today?
Write down 2–3 words or phrases. That’s your ‘To Be’ list.
As you work through your ‘To Do’ list, you’ll now approach each task with clarity and intention. This isn’t fluff , it’s focus
This small act can completely shift your day. It creates space to reflect and reframe. When things go wrong (as they often do in our world), you’ll be grounded in how you’ve chosen to respond.
You won’t just get through the day, you’ll show up as the best version of yourself.
Adding a ‘To Be’ list into your daily prep reminds you that being your best self isn’t just good for you — it’s good for your clients, candidates, and everyone around you. It’s a strategy that brings purpose back into the process.
